at designing a basic website using Microsoft Front Page Xpress.
After completing the course the user will be able to create, edit,
save and publish a web site containing:
- Text and text effects
- Hyperlinks
- Bullets and numbered lists
- Moving ClipArt
- Borders
- Tables

Movie Maker ~ the basics
This 5 week course will incorporate multimedia skills, teaching you
how to :
Create and edit short movies made from either photographs or movie
footage
Add text and graphics to the movies
Add sound/music to the clips
Apply transitions & special effects
Add titles and credits
A natural continuation from our digital imaging or power point
courses, this course can lead on to further study in this area.
For most of the course, Microsoft Windows Movie Maker is used

Desktop Publishing ~ an introduction
Using Microsoft Publisher you will explore the techniques used to
produce exciting publications such as posters, leaflets, greetings
cards etc.
Learn how to:
- Create a publication
- Add and modify text and tables
- Work with frames
- Add and modify graphic objects
- Arrange objects
- Paste, link, and embed information
- Work with multiple pages
No previous experience of Microsoft Publisher is required.
