BLRC …………..

Badenoch Learning and Resource Centre (BLRC) is a community-based learning centre situated in Kingussie on the upper floor of the Badenoch Centre.

We offer a wide range of learning and training opportunities from short courses to degree level study.

Study is available on-line, as part of a class, or from home.  

BLRC staff are on hand to offer help and advice when choosing your course, and to provide on-going support in a welcoming environment..

The learning centre is one of many that are Learn Direct branded  throughout Scotland.  As part of the network we are able to provide a range of courses that have been approved by ILA Scotland, reducing the cost of many courses down to as little as £10.

An ILA, or Individual Learning Account, is available to everyone over the age of 16.

Whether you are in work, self-employed or just wanting to learn something new, the government training grant of up to £200 every year is open to all, and there’s a new one up to £500 if you are thinking about higher level study or a degree.
